Scringo Slow .. Radar Tab not seen in app .

I am not a developer but With the help of Worker73`s great tutorial <a href="http://www.buzztouch.com/forum/thread.php?tid=3D1785DE0847EBF6B271E14&fid=F006D74B653CA9FFE3CB28E&sortColumn=FT.id&sortUpDown=DESC&currentPage=2" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">http://www.buzztouch.com/forum/thread.php?tid=3D1785DE0847EBF6B271E14&fid=F006D74B653CA9FFE3CB28E&sortColumn=FT.id&sortUpDown=DESC&currentPage=2</a> I successfully integrated scringo in my app, aded FB and twitter login too but I am not seeing Radar tab in my app ( Yes it is enabled in scringo dashboard and saw it I saw it once or twice ). I am testing Scringo in my app and it is working very slow ... I am using 1 mbps speed but it takes near about 20 second for a sticker to appear i message box. Is scringo`s server down or there could be another cause ?

Hello @Saifu, The best way to figure out where the issue might be is to hook your device up to a debugger : The debug console in Xcode or LogCat in Eclipse. That way you can see exactly what's going on, and any error messages that might be occurring. Mark

On Worker73's tutorial post, the last comment says that Radar will only work if GPS is enabled. Since the link is not easy to extract from the first post, here is the link to the awesome tutorial by Worker73: http://www.buzztouch.com/forum/thread.php?tid=3D1785DE0847EBF6B271E14 -- Niraj

Thanks @GoNW As I am new to eclipse I will make a progress and learn how to understand the logcat. I am just curious to know if other users are also facing the " scringo slow " problem as I see scringo dashboard is also working very slow. @Niraj Sir, Yes GPS needs to be enabled from your app core in BT dashboard but if it is not enabled than also you see Radar Tab ( If enabled in scringo dev zone ). My Radar tab is enabled in scringo Dev zone ( as messages activities and feedback tabs are enabled ) but It is not appearing. Thanks

Hi @Saifu, Using LogCat is pretty easy. If you can connect your device to your computer, then launch Eclipse, you should see a Devices tab that lists attached devices. If you don't, search around in the menu bar for adding views, and add that tab. Then highlight the device, and switch over to the LogCat tab (which should be there by default). You'll see tons of output. The stuff we're interested in will show up when you execute whatever action you expect to bring up the Radar. Then just copy and paste that info to the forum! Mark

Finally scringo is terminating it`s service :( " Hello, We regret to inform that the Scringo service will be terminated in 60 days. Following this notice period, Scringo's sidebar will stop functioning, users will be unable to connect to chat rooms in app, and all other Scringo's functionality will stop functioning. Also, effective immediately, we will stop accepting new apps into Scringo."
