liteBuda Aspiring developer Posts: 16 Reg: Jul 13, 2011 Austin 160	confirm \| cancel 09/01/11 12:55 PM (14 years ago) iOS SDK 4.1 getting the warning: no rule to process file '$(PROJECT_DIR)/sample.js' of type sourcecode.javascript for architecture i386 Hey, I've been getting this warning when I build a project file and I see from the sample.js file in BT_Docs folder how to fix this but I think it's more for Xode 3. Just curious, did you alter that file at all, or is it a file you added yourself? If you haven't made any custom code modification you may want to try just re-downlading your project from buzztouch. Did a google search and found this: http://www.codingtiger.com/questions/iphone/iPhone-UIWebView-local-resources-using-Javascript-and-handling-onorientationChange.html Apparently xcode is trying to compile the .js file. In the answer section in the link above it covers how to deselect that file from what gets compiled. Comments Strange error. It's mentioned in the sample.js that comes down with your project that the error is a possibility (see comments in file) but my problem is that Xcode 4 doesn't display groups and files like Xcode 3 in the navigation sidebar as far as I can tell some I'm having a heck of time trying to locate this option to turn off compiling of javascript in Xcode 4. CodingTiger presents a link to the apple dev forums which I'm not a paid member of so I can't access the additional info.
