The API level for the selected SDK target does not match the Min SDK Version First time creating android application and having major problems. I downloaded eclipse and the documents recommended on the android site. I downloaded the Google API documents as well yet this message still is popping up. I followed the directions from a previous forum poster but still having difficulty with error messages popping up. I was wondering if there was more of step-by-step showing anywhere that i can read to help deviate the problem. Any help would be necessary. Thank you guys!!

Hi PSE, In the future include the forum you were following so we can know what has already been suggested to you. Without knowing where you are at in the configuration process, I would suggest you follow the directions on this website ( http://developer.android.com/sdk/installing.html ) from start to finish. It sound like the link 'Adding SDK Components' will set you on the right path, but it wouldn't hurt to go through the whole thing.
