building the APP, easy, from then on , a complete nightmare, to resolve this, step by step videos are needed. Information seems to be spread all over the place I have spent about 50 hours, and am now more confused then ever. 1) Launch Eclipse. Eclipse must have the Android Developer Tools installed. Get the Android SDK for Eclipse here: http://developer.android.com/sdk/index.html 2) Create a new project. File > New > Android Project - android project does not appear on initial load. 3) Enter a project name 4) Choose Create a project from existing source 5) Using the Browse button, locate the source-code folder for your application. This is the folder you downloaded from buzztouch.com then un-zipped to a directory on your computer. Note: After choosing the source-code folder on your computer, a Google API's version 1.6 checkbox should be checked. Eclipse should check this automatically. If it did not, something is wrong. 6) Click Finish. My experience is lots of errors and emulator not loading because of some bug with the R12 update. still not sure if it is google maps that is causing errors ?

This is for iPhone/ipad There are many steps, and it feels complicated at first, but once you get going, its not actually that difficult. At the beginning of August, I was a newbie too, however now I already have my first app in the appstore! I am assuming that you have already signed up for the apple developer programme. It is important that you have applied for your distribution certificate. Where I kept going wrong is signing the code. In your iTunes Connect account, go to Manage your applications, and select Add New App. App Name: Your app name SKU Number: any number you want (I started on 001, then 002 etc..) Bundle ID Suffix: just copy and paste whatever is in Xcode under summary, then identifier. For me this has always been com.appname.com Once you complete this page and add all your screenshots, go back into your app and select upload binary. Extract your files from buzz touch then open that folder in Xcode. Go to the build settings and change all of your code signing identies to your distribution certificates. Once that is done, go to product and click archive Once your project is archived, the organiser should open Click on share and select the .ipa option and your distribution certificate. You can now upload your app to the appstore using Application Loader Let me know if you get stuck on any of the steps

Hi guys, The Android Developers website provides step by step instructions for setting up your eclipse environment. http://developer.android.com/sdk/index.html for a slightly different perspective on the same process: http://mobile.tutsplus.com/tutorials/android/introduction-to-android-development/ Getting eclipse setup properly can be tricky. Stick with it, and when you run into problems search the forums. Post a question with details of your problem if you can't find your answer. Someone will be along sooner than later to help you out.

Hi everyone. I just installed the SDK, ADT plugin, and eclipse. When I try to create a new android project and click on create a project from existing source, I get this error message on the console: com.android.ide.eclipse.adt.internal.project.AndroidManifestHelper] Unable to read /AndroidManifest.xml: java.io.FileNotFoundException: /AndroidManiFest.xml (no such file or directory) I did everything on this board but I keep getting this error message. I'm using a MAC. Can anyone help? Xcode is so much better.

Hi Arock, Here are two stackoverflow links to check out: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/5629086/problem-with-android-project - Deals with setting the sdk location in preferences. and http://stackoverflow.com/questions/4404553/missing-androidmanifest-xml-when-importing-an-old-android-project-into-eclipse -Deals with possibly moving the source directory. Also steveh6883 has been very helpful with getting other buzztouch users up and running. Lots of people are happy with the services he provides.
