Image upload grrrr

Hopefully this isn't going to be too embarrassing, but I'm new to this so bear with me. So I'm trying to add a header image in V1.5. I can do it from a URL but not from a jpeg. I've dragged my images into the BT_Images folder in XCode and it gave me a few options. I selected 'Copy items into destination group's folder (if needed)', and 'Create groups for any added folders. I de-selected 'Add to targets' as a few comments in the forum seemed to suggest this. I then copy the full path name into 'Header image' which looks like this: /Users/ben/Downloads/version1027-iOS-BTv15-EA865F469A8D3A98DA9038587/BT_Images/197278151341.jpeg And then select image size. Still no dice. Just get a ? on the menu screen. Any advice for the newbie would be much appreciated. Cheers

Just a wild guess, but have you tried it using the extension .jpg instead of .jpeg?

You don't need the path. Just the image name with extension. 197278151341.jpeg

Thanks for the feedback. For anyone else who's struggling, here's what I had to do: Save the file as .png (I still can't get .jpgs to upload). And make sure all the dimensions are good. When copying into XCode images folder I selected 'Copy items into destination's folder' + 'create groups for any added folders' + 'add to targets' Use image name not full path as MGoBlue suggested. And if you still aren't having any luck, re-start your simulator. Sometimes an image wouldn't show up until I did this which really threw me. Happy days.

@mr goose - After you add (embed) images to your xcode project, it is always necessary to recompile (Stop, Run) the app. Without doing so the app on your device/simulator won't have access to the image and you'll get the question mark instead.
