I recently discovered this service, too, and prefer over appoxee because Xtify already has sdk for android. I'm just starting to read instructions on inserting the code in eclipse. There is a BT member using appoxee push notifications for his iphone app. A search for appoxee in the forum should bring up his posts. He may be able to help.

I put a hold on xtify. Inserting the code is beyond my ability. I need to hire a programmer from odesk. My app is not a game. It was created to be more of an 'information' distribution vehicle that includes an ebook, links to social media accounts and weekly tips. I decided to create a kindle book instead that visitors to my site can download. My squeeze page for the free kindle book will capture their mobile number and I will do sms marketing. As my user base grows, I may move forward with the mobile app. It depends on the response I get to my kindle book and sms marketing. I really want to use xtify. I think it has big opportunities using the geo location feature. I may decide to create an app that is focused on this feature for offline marketing to local biz.
