PDF size and quiz graphics (V1.5 iOS)

Is there a work-around for the PDF maximum PDF file size? I have a rather large study guide that i would like to include with my app. I've linked the documents to my document gallery, but I don't want the app to be flagged by Apple due to too many URLs (I've also linked some YouTube videos). Any ideas? Also, is there a way to include a graphic when a quiz question is answered incorrectly? (The same way the star picture animates when the question is correct?) In fact, is there a way to change the star image, as well? I'm guessing I'll have to change the image name somewhere in X code, but I'm not sure where to go. Thanks for your help.

Is there a max PDF side for iPhone and iPad? If so, what is it? Thanks!

The max is 8 MB, I believe.

a) Star image: You can easily change this. Make a new image, save it with the same name (overwrite the existing image) and it should work. b) Max PDF size: There isn't a known maximum size the phone can handle. It's a matter of balancing how long each file takes to download. Multiple smaller files are generally better than larger files? c) Incorrect graphic: This could get complex. The 'wrong' image already displays when a question is incorrect. You could overwrite that image too but it's designed to be 'small' like the current image. Not sure how complex you want to get but for sure you could do some programming to modify this behavior if you were up for it. Again, it would be compex.

I think for now I'll stick with the star image :-) As far as the PDF, isn't there a maximum size to upload to Buzztouch. There are multiple parts to the study guide, and originally I had them set-up as PDF screens. The first PDF in the list would work perfectly in the sim, but the others would give me an error message. I figured it was because I exceeded the maximum file size for BT. Was I off base? Again, thanks so much for your help. The app is really coming together! :-)

Ah...yes...v1.4 does allow uploads of .PDF's. I was in v1.5 mode where there isn't an upload screen and you 'point' to the .PDF on your website. So, yes, v1.4 does limit the upload size to 8MB. The phone cand handle larger files, the upload processes cannot because it takes too long ;-)
