help with app approval

I have done an app and submitted to app store, have got this message We found that your app exhibited one or more bugs, when reviewed on iPhone 4 running iOS 4.3.5, on both Wi-Fi and cellular networks, which is not in compliance with the App Store Review Guidelines. When the user launches the app on iPhone 4, the following message is displayed: No screens to display Dont understand as I have run on iphone 4 and on simulator in xcode and all screens and app is working Any help much appreciated.

Ammendment - Tried running xcode simulator on different releases and got same message no screens to display then went to splash screen and worked fine - could this be an issue with a file that may be on local machine but not in zip to submit app ?

Make sure there is not an image missing from the zip you submitted. I might be wrong , but a file might be located on your computer and linked to the project when you compile (which means it runs ok on your simulator), but if it is not in the BT _images folder it will not run in any other location....

Try doing a Clean All Targets on your build before you test again, just to make sure everything is where it's supposed to be.

Thanks guys - removed splash screen which has link to ipad image that is not in BT image folder and ran fine in simulator. Resubmitted so fingers crossed. Noticed some image file have space in names eg shetland icon.png instead of shetland_icon.png. I have a vague memory that must not use spaces in file names, is that correct?

@Marko: You'll want to make 100% sure your app works on a device exactly the way it should work before you submit it to Apple. Submitting app's that don't work is a giant waste of time for Apple and they for sure 'keep track' of each developers submissions. In other words, dont' send them apps that are not functioning because they will begin to reject your submissions as soon as they get them - sometimes without even reviewing them. We know of several deveopers that are unable to get Apple to review their apps because they sent in lots and lots of apps that simply didn't work. The only way to make sure you app is ready for submission is to test it. Do this on an actual device. Install it using Xcode, test test test.

Thanks all, your help has been invaluable. I will ensure I clean all targets before testing and submitting from this point onwards. Thanks for the advice David in my eagerness to get first app on store I removed splashscreen that had a non BT_image file for ipad (icon.png) and it tested fine, but I will endeavour to be rigorous from this point onwards.

thanks ian I will try that out. I was thinking of offering to form a group that could check each others apps out but feel I need to up my experience before I could give back constructive and accurate apprasils of any errors in other people app builds.
