Android 1.4 custom url

Would it be possible to add a back button for the custom web page as alot of users of my app complain they cant go back without going back to the main screen and it can be frustrating. I tried on my own to figure it out but im at a lost lol. Thanks :)

If you mean you are navigating the URL within the App page , then no, the buttons on the app are for naviagting the app, to navigate inside a page, without changig pages, you need a button inside the page ie on the webpage of the URL - although if it is your own then shouldnt be too difficult to add one

Yup, this is an issue with v1.4----bogus actually. If you contol the HTML it's not too tough, impossible if you don't. The Android web-view really needs a toolbar so the back button can be somethign other than the sacred hardware backbutton. The hardware backbutton should not be modified to alter the expected behavior (it's not a browser back button). You could find the method that fires with the back button in the toolbar is tapped....do something like.. if(browser.canGoBack()){ ....browser.goBack() }else{ finish() } That's for sure psuedo code but you get the idea.
