Facbook post has stopped working (Android)

The post to facebook functionality seems to have stopped working on my apps - it will still post to facebook but the text that BT is supposed to automatically add doesn't get pulled though. It was working last time I tested it a couple of weeks ago and I've not altered anything since then. Any suggestions?

There's been some random reports about Facebook (and Twitter) not functioning like they 'once did' - bummer. Both have changed their authentication routines recently and it's strange that some would work and some would not. The best advice seems to be to use a regular mobile Facebook / Twitter URL instead of the BT 'share on twitter/ facebook' screens. Not really sure about the best way to move forward with this. iOS5 and Android both have made giant improvements with built in Sharing functions and we may just go that route - workign with the native functions instead of third part posts like we are now.

Cool, so as long as iPhone facebook is still working in version 1.4 apps is there an easy way to change just the downloaded android source code? ( since the control panel is feeding both ios and android) Or think it's best just to connect both iPhone and android fo m.Facebook.com for now (as u stated)...been having fun messing with the code in the v1.4 apps lately to see how much I can change on my own, lots of fun...Great news about v1.5 for android too...thanks for all the help in the midst of getting all that coding done...cheers!

Android and iPhone are 100% different for Facebook. One is .java, one is Obtective C. Not sure what you mean here: 'is there an easy way to change just the downloaded android source code'

Say if I made a v1.4 app and iPhone Facebook is working but not in the Android version....using the control panel since it builds and controls both iPhone and android apps then trying to keep iPhone running BT Facebook and android running mobile Facebook would be tricky right? Or am I thinking about this wrong? :)

I guess I'm trying to say in v1.4 you can't have BT Facebook on iPhone without it on android as well, because of how you use the BT control panel to build both apps

Ah, great point. Probably just need to carve-out what's not working in the project then if you want to use one but not the other. Didn't think of it that way. @bladeboy: Not really. There seems to be a growing group of folks that have created a simple 'post to wall' or 'share on facebook' menu item that leads to a Custom URL screen. The custom URL screen is a the mobilized version of their Facebook page (not the users, but theirs). Then...I guess users just kinda-of get the message that because this is facebook I could login and post something. Not sure really. There are other folks that have done all sorts of other stuff with buttons, HTML, etc. Kinda endless.

Yes, exactly what I meant, think I will just use mobile Facebook for now and see if I can add some like buttons into it...ps. Did I ever tell you how much I HATE the android simulator? :(

Shouldn't be tough. Does this mean you're using a text-editor to manage the configuration data and keeping it on dropBox or something. OK, if so. Just find the screen you want to work with and add the dataURL:facebook url to it?

Cool, no I haven't gotten into managing the configuration in my dropbox yet...with v1.5 coming to android it's temping to wait and mess with all that stuff then...still just getting a webpage with time and date in it when I try to use the URL I got in nslog to see v1.4 Config data...but haven't even looked at getting Config data for v1.4 android yet :)

Yes m.Facebook URL works fine...I was talking about nslogging v1.4 code to get Config data URL...when I put in that URL in my browser I just get time and date in the web browser instead of seeing the Config data...but have to go back and play with it more
