Duplicate Locations (Map)

I'm developing a small shopping guide and I want to show the stores locations on the Map, but some of them are located at the same place (e.g. shopping malls and comercial buildings). I tried to see what would happen when using the same lat and long for more than one map item and the pins got pilled and only the top one is touchable. Does anybody has an idea on what can be done? I appreciate any help. Thanks!

Hmm...if you're creating these manually and entered literally the same lat/long you'll for sure end up with pins on top of each other. Assuming you're using v1.5, you could... a) create a map with ONE PIN and title / subtitle for all the super-close locations and setup the details button on the call-out bubble to lead to another screen. The second screen could be a menu with options to go to each location, or, it could be a nother zoomed in map or something? b) Another idea...can you change the lat/lon slightly so they are not literally on top of each other...zooming in should spread them apart.

David How can you set the map parameters to zoom in and out? I can't find any setting to allow a slide bar on the map. Thanks

Hi in NY. Zoom in / out as in add a control to the screen or set the zoom when the map first loads? You'll have a hard time adding a slide-bar on the map (I'm guessing you're working with Android? No such concept in iOS. You could see this for some additional XML layout items you could set? http://developer.android.com/resources/tutorials/views/hello-mapview.html You would set these in screen_locationmap.xml. Of course there are all sorts of ways to make changes using the java programming language but I'm not sure you're up for it?
