Location Map - Does anyone know how to get the location map to show the path between two points?

I have two locations on a Location Map and I want to know if it is possible to have the default view show the highlighted direction between these two locations. Thanks.

Yikes - much harder than it sounds. You have two options here. a) A super-basic image that you pre-create to show the user the path between the points. I realize this is not an interactive map but does work very well in some situations (oflfine, static map images are used for lots of things). b) Figure out how to use the iOS MKPolyLine class thats built into iOS 4. This is very challenging for most folks. A good tutorial exists here: http://spitzkoff.com/craig/?p=136 and it should give you an idea of what you're up against. We do dream about allow folks to do this magically with the control panel but have not implemented it. Getting Android released is the priority these days but for sure 'routes' are on the wish list of the future.

David as always thanks for the advice. I will look into the static image option and then maybe (if I can figure out how) set it on first touch to switch to the Location Map screen so it is interactive. The points on the map are on roads, so I set the starting point pin to GREEN and the end pin to RED. I think with the static image and the color coding it will make sense to the end user. Thanks again and yes I'm also looking forward to the Android release although I am an Apple household and FAN BOY.
