background images displaying but not in folder

As I created background images for pages, I would put them in my local folder and drag to Xcode all good. Now, I had to re-download my project from BT and all images are still displaying and my stylesheet working fine but the images were not put back in the local folder. Am I going crazy, how can this be? Does BT upload copies of my images? and if so, why are they not in the images folder that I re-downloaded from BT... I'm missing something... help.

Is this in the Simulator? or on your device? Did you run a Clean first? I've seen this before as well, and once I removed the old instances of the program from the Simulator all worked fine.

You can press and hold the icon on simulator and iPhone to delete app then in Xcode click on Build along the top screen menu then click on Clean All Targets from the drop down menu...you could also go into your build folders but this might be simplest for now

My Guess: a) An image URL was used at some point (not an image name). b) App was launched in sim / phone and downloaded some images from the control panel - it saved these images. c) Control panel was changed to use image names and not image URL's d) App looks for cached versions of the images because it saved them before. Solution: Delete the app from the simulator and the device. Re-compile, should work.
