Hi there, its me again! :P I was looking at the Foursquare API - https://developer.foursquare.com/ - specifically the Venue API, and it would be a great feature for BuzzTouch apps to support in-app check-ins and venues information. The requests are made with http GET and POST methods and the responses are given with JSON. I'm really not sure about the authentication but it seems to be similar to Facebook OAuth, and the Venue APIs doesn't require any authentication (just the client id and secret, much like the share on facebook feature). I can think of many uses for this API, like sharing Venue info like 'Who is here now', 'Who is the mayor', 'Tips', 'User submitted photos','Recommended nearby places', and a lot more info that Foursquare can provide. It would also be cool to have a 'check-in here' option for some kind of apps. Do you guys think it could be a BT feature? Or is there an easy way to integrate this api into a BT app? Thanks!!!

Don't know the Foursquare API. Shouldn't be hard for a developer to include it in your app. Future: Yes, we do plan check-in features. I doubt they will integrate with Foursquare but we'll certainly look into it - they rule that part of the internet ;-)
