Just Submitted App - basic questions

Just submitted app - it was easier to get my first date (an arduous task at 14) than submitting first app. Had q similar issue as a fellow BT user with Distribution profile. However checked status -says it missing screenshots - I have uploaded all iphone ones, so checked localizations - request ipad screenshots, I had designed it just for iphone - is there a setting I can setup in iconnect for Iphone only. Also it say English (great) and Swedish ???? I know as much Swedish as politicians know accountability Any help appreciated - please not in Swedish though

Confused... Is you app Universal? If not, no need to submit screenshots And if you want to sell your app worldwide, no need to have a Swedish Localization Cheers Tez

@Marko - When you submit to apple they ask you to provide screen shots of what you app looks like in use. This way people who visit your app on itunes can see a little bit of the app that they may or may not be downloading. One of the easier ways to do this is through screen grabs of your app running on the simulator. Swedish is showing up as a language option because another buzztouch user made a Swedish localization file that we now include in the project download. If you would like to remove it just navigate to the file in xcode and delete it before you submit to apple. Look in the BT_Config folder.

On iconnect i get this error Your binary indicates support for iPad. You must provide an iPad screenshot. Do I need to do redo app with Ipad size images(over 40 screens (animal fact file)), or can I remove ipad setting without needing to resubmit or do i need to redo app on buzztouch and removed Ipad binary (dont know how) and resubmit to app store (a scary process) Any help would be much appreciated Thanks Parker on Swedish info - happy to have app localized for other markets One final question - when you submit app does it go worldwide or should I have selected on submission of app

Sorry another amendment I have uploaded screenshots for iphone but as I did not intend it for ipad I have not wrote app for ipad size screen. Cheers for input Tez, not sure on how to set up for iphone exclusively, are all apps meant to run on both iphone & ipad or is there a setting in BT to do app just for one?

To get rid of the iPad bit, you need to open xcode again. It should be set to distribution. Then do the following: Click on your app name > info button > build tab > scroll down till you see 'targeted device family' Change this from iPhone/iPad to just iPhone. Click on target > your app name > info button > build tab > scroll down till you see 'targeted device family' Change this from iPhone/iPad to just iPhone. Build again (build>build) Reveal in finder Compress and upload this new version to the apple store It shouldn't ask you for iPad screenshots any more then :) hopefully!

Thanks Elaine - That's great help I will try that this weekend and resubmit to iconnect. PS BT users are looking younger these days.
