You have another application on Market with the same package name (com.v1_4.B46762D1246186FCEDC4FF47.com). Go to that other application, and click upgrade. But its suspended... can the package name modified? Please help!

You can change the package name in your Eclipse project then rebuild then reupload. To change package name... a) Change the name of the package in the /src folder. This is called 'Refactoring' in Eclipse b) Search the entire project for all instances of you previous package name and enter the new package name. Clean > Rebuild Should work

There's an easier method than that (well it seems to have worked for me) 1. Choose a usable package name - it must be in two parts for some reason so name.name2 works (ie: thisis.myapp) 2. In Eclipse Right click on the project you want to rename then select: Android Tools > Rename application package 3. You should get an input box and a couple of prompts - just agree to everything. 4. This will update your entire application apart from one file (not sure why!) This is in src > com.facebook.android. 5. Locate the last file to update (it will be marked with a red exclamation mark) and the line needing editing (that'll be tagged in red as well). Manually update the name - making sure to just replace the long name (com.characterstring.com) and leave the .R.etc that follows it in the code! That should work - well it does for me anyway. NB - If you're trying to publish a new version of an existing app then it the Android Market will insist on the same package name as the original!
