Build Fails in Xcode

I am using the latest SDK and Xcode I built an app with BT 1.4 and also using BT 1.5 I can compile and run the app by itself on my phone without any problems. I am implementing rich push with my app. I can get the sample rich push by itself to build and run without any problems. However when I bring the rich push library files into my BT app, it fails to build. Below is the error I get: [BT_debugger showIt:self:[NSString stringWithFormat:@ERROR parsing JSON: %@, parser.errorTrace]]; [self showAlert:NSLocalizedString(@errorTitle,@~ Error ~):NSLocalizedString(@appParseError, @There was a problem parsing some configuration data. Please make sure that it is well-formed):0]; [BT_fileManager deleteFile:[self saveAsFileName]]; Here are the frameworks that I needed to add to BT for the rich push: CoreLocation CFNetwork.framework libxml2.2.dylib libz.1.1.3.dylib MobileCoreServices.framework I have worked on this for 2 days and I am not getting anywhere. Can you give me some advice to what I need to do? Thanks, Jeff

Hi Jeff, There is an already existing forum thread dealing with getting push notifications to work with buzztouch: http://www.buzztouch.com/forum/thread.php?tid=37FAB953175EE7E08F95349&status=&searchInput=push&sortColumn=FT.dateStampUTC&sortUpDown=DESC¤tPage=1&doViews=1 Everest11 has been very helpful in assisting users set it up. As far as parsing config data errors - Copy your config file ( Under your apps Core Properties > Configuration Data URL > Click here to show the apps configuration data.) Paste that config data @ http://jsonlint.com/ It should tell you what the error is, and which screen within your app is generating it.

Hi Jeff. Parker's idea about validating the JSON is good, do that to make sure it's valid. I'm not sure why the JSON would be invalid after adding another library to the project. Seems strange. I'm a bit confused about the issue you're explaining. Are you getting build errors or are you getting errors in the Console while the app is running? Huge difference. If Xcode compiles and builds without any trouble but the Console is reporting issues (in our words, we output tons of info to the console to help in these situations) then we'll need to figure out why the data cannot be parsed.

David, I am getting this error during the build. I did not, however, look at what the console is reporting. I will re-run this and look at the console, to this if this yields any clues. I will post my findings shortly.
