The ZIP File was likely created an older ZIP Application

So, I got this message - what do I do to get the proper ZIP file documentation? Is it an entry in the previous screens?

Not sure what you're facing here. Did you unarchive the .zip file you downloaded? What un-archive utility are you using (Mac, PC, what software). You need to unzip the files to a location on your computer before this will work.

I am using a Mac Lion, and tried changing the name from a zip file to a folder and back, same results. I did not unacrchive the zip file. I just used the buzztouch zip as is. It is something about the configuration - is that something I could have entered previously in the process? I was not really sure what I did in entering information in Itunes but I did get a ready to upload binary button... I also copied the zip file then put it on my desktop thinking there might be something to the folder.... same results.

Do I tell Itunes to use the zip file created by buzztouch or an internal file that results from unzippinig this file?

Correction ... do I tell the Application Loader to use the zip file in total or a file within it?

Ah, sounds like I missunderstood the trouble. I thought you were struggling in unzipping the project you downloaded from your buzztouch control panel. It sounds like you are trying to upload a binary to iTunes. If this is the case, it means you must have compiled your app and then uploaded the package when you got the trouble. After compiling, when you're preparing to upload, command > click the project name in the product folder...then Show in Finder. This should expose the location of the archive package that you upload to iTunes.

OK I will have to look at that later today. Thanks. I admit to being a novice. I did get through the iTunes drill ok - I think. It was in the Application Loader that I got the error... so I will see how the above works and let you know. Thank you for the help.

Well I have been at the point in Itunes that it is waiting for the upload. I have gotten to the point in Application Loader to where I enter the zip file. And when I do that, the thing blows up because of permissions. I think I am hearing that I need to start over and delete everything... I thought I used the same buzztouch zip file name for both, but maybe not ... but there is no other name. Maybe I need to delete the buztouch zip as well. Not sure.

Hmm...soemthings not adding up. If you're struggling with uploading your compiled project with the Application Loader, the trouble is not related to your buzztouch project, or code, or anything like that. It's related to how your project is signed and what your uploading. Projects need to be signed with a provisioning profile using Xcode and built using the Release mode before they can be uploaded with the Application Loader. This process is step-by-step but can get a little tricky. The best way to do this is... a) Build-run your project in Debug mode in Xcode. Assuming all is fine... b) Create an archive in Xcode 4 c) Validate the archive in Xcode 4 d) Upload to iTunes Details are here: http://developer.apple.com/library/mac/#documentation/ToolsLanguages/Conceptual/Xcode4UserGuide/DistApps/DistApps.html
