Bundle seed id

Ok, got most of this sorted except for the bundle id error. So I figure I will start from scratch and ask real basic things. If on my xcode my bundle name is exactly identifier: com.pefitness.com info plist file config/pefitness-Info.plist product name pefitness When I create the app id in the box description - i can put learning about fitness in pe In the bundle seed id ( what goes here) Bundle identifier what exactly goes here??? I dont understand the example com.domainname.appname? What is this domain name? I have had this problem on each time I try and validate this, so this time I will not make the app ID until I get this process. I have IOS program guide infront of me and still dont get it?

In your case the bundle id is the same as the identifier in xcode: com.pefitness.com If you have several apps fom one company the logic is com.companyname.app1 com.companyname.app2 and so forth

So, Bundle seed id, is the generated number part and the identifier is com.pefitness.com. Is that right? Not exactly sure what you mean in the second part. DO I type com.companyname.app1 rather that com.pefirness.com The companyname part, can you give me a specific example

Hi Yes. Thats correct. Lets say you have a fitness company called sweatit that release several apps in different training areas. A spinning app, a work out app, a running app etc. The spinning app will be identified by a generated number and a reverse domain type id. DF678798.com.sweatit.spinning The workout app - XT567349.com.sweatit.workout The running app - LP239867.com.sweatit.spinning If you want you can have another id setup that suits you better. I have for example in my apps se.appname.my_last_name. The reversed domain type by apple is merley a suggestion and I guess a standard that most developers follow. Its important that the identifier ( com.domainname.com) matches the id in xcode. So if you change that in itunes connect when setting up you need to do the same in Xcode.
