Can a picture be taken through the app and then add images like a hat or something?

I am looking for some help creating an idea. I realize this has been done many many time before in apps. But, I would love some help creating this idea. I want to be able to take a picture within the app with your phone then add preloaded images to the picture. Like a funny hat, or bandaid something like that. Can Anyone help me with this? Thank you so much in advance!

@ ridgerock: Two ways... a) Load the app with a bunch of images (hats, beards, mustaches, etc). When a user takes a picture, merge the two together. iOS uses UIImageViews to hold images so you could add a UIImageView on-top of the UIImageView the user filled when they snapped the photo. b) Send the image to your custom .php script on your website. Use an image manipulation package on your server (like GD) to create a new image then return that to the phone. This approach would allow you to save the images on your site.
