Gps info..fine. Can we change??

Had a friend show me my new app on his android..he pointed out that the gps feature was set to FINE, which seems to mean..the app can be tracked to his exact location..I don't remember making this type of selection...ls there any way of making the selection a bit less accurate?? He said he would normally not d/l something like this.. Anyone?? Thanks in advance...

Not sure what you're asking..I'll assume you mean how is the GPS working in an Android app running buzztouch v1.4. The location manager object is instantiated in the Act_ActivityBase.java class. The Android Manifest is asking for permission to access the ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION because it is using hte GPS location, not the WiFi tower data (less accurate). You can modify this if you want. See this for details: http://developer.android.com/guide/topics/location/obtaining-user-location.html
