I want to start a thread on what's working for people and what is not.. Some people still don't know that Amazon app store is even there: I have been doing app dev now since November of 2010 - I still am trying to figure things out Android vs iOS - What version to support.. More so Android Now tablets. Lot's of discussions around Free 'ad' based apps vs paid. Admob, iads, Inmobi, Adsense. Over the next few weeks I am going to paint a story of my last almost 'year' of being in the app world. Read this article from a user reivew for Amazon.. wow. it's kind of scary to put your app on amazon. What do you mean it's not your view? You mean you would put your app on amazon store?

Amazon are trying to take over the world, beware.

Maybe the word 'view' was not the right one.. If your app is 'free' then why not have it as many places as possible. Buzztouch makes content updates easy.. So you don't have to worry about always uploading new builds. I have been playing around with free versions (ad supported) and paid version for Android. The jury is still out on this one.. I did release a paid app on the Amazon store.. Let's just say a good thing Amazon waved the 99 dollar fee. The only reason I went to Amazon was to maybe, just maybe I could have some control / get more advertisement out of Amazon.. Because that is what the invite email I got said.. Yet to make it in... Now if they ever contact me about the offering my paid app 'FREE' heck no!!

As a fellow Aussie Developer, the guys at ShiftyJelly are right! And we wonder why Amazon waive the $99 fee. Ha - Stay clear!

Beware of Amazon. Lots of horror stories Amazon have to right to change your pricing, update or change your descrption of your app... They are late with payments and more... Have you read @ Zoid66 post at the top of this thread? Plus they only sell to USA customers.
