When will V1.5 Be available for Android? I can't get an answer

I have been checking the posts, but all the posts I read regarding this question are old and do not give the answer. Are we any closer to getting V1.5 for android? My app depends on the new release because it uses pdf files and word files. It needs to access this info without the internet. Besides, using the internet can cause a person to be charged if they are near their data limit.

We hear ya ;-) There still is no official release for Android. Because of all the goings on around here and the ridiculous amount of growth (this is good) several things are taking far longer than expected. Android being at the top of the list. We realize you want us to give a date, and we realize how hard it is to figure out which direction you should go (instead of waiting on us) but it's not possible to predict at this point. Not trying to be vague, honest rather. We'll surely get it done but do not want you to make any plans around an unknown schedule.

This is getting extremely frustrating. My app I created in version 1.4 is totally useless. No one can access it if their phone is out of cell range. Because of the nature of my app, the technicians using it will be out of cell range quite often, which means none of the data I enter can be viewed. The data in the app is an educational tool to allow them to troubleshoot problems while on the job. Is the new 1.5 version just not compatible to be released for android? When the new 1.5 version is released for Android, will I have to redesign the app all over or can it be converted to 1.5?

a) If it's totallly useless then you're probably wasting your time with v1.4. b) v1.5 is not compatable with Android, like you already new. c) When Android is released you should be able to 'convert it', we have worked on a converter a few different times but havn't been able to get it to work consistently. Like I posted before, it's super tough keeping all the different parts working together and we do wish we knew when all sorts of enhancements (like Android support) will be done. We don't so we don't want to mislead anyone with promised delivery dates we may not make.

@gojuryu: Overview? As is marketing materials? We don't have any! - too funny. There's a few ways to see how it works, your imagination will help you determine how to best use it. It looks lik you have some mobile dev. experience (awesome!) so you should be able to figure out the flexibility without much trouble. Have a look at some of the v1.5 vidoes, or, have a look at the v1.5 docs maybe? http://www.buzztouch.com/docs/v1.5/ Happy to see ya in the forums ;-)
