Be sure to set the Header Image Layout options too. Space between your header and menu list is set in Menu List Row Height ,Font Size > List Header Height option under Advanced Menu Properties for your menu list screen. Also check the same setting in your app Theme under your Control Panel. Just a reminder - Individual screen settings will override your app Theme settings.
