simulator works but download on iphone doesn't

I have an iOS app that just contains 5 pdf pages. It works great in the iOS simulator on my Mac but when I download to my ipod touch using apple's provisioning portal there is no images or menu choices. It builds and runs with no errors and the template is there when I open the app but nothing is on the home page. It just looks like a blank template. Could this be an issue using an ipod touch instead of an iphone? Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

This isn't a technical response and hopefully someone out there has a better response. But I had the same issue that magically went away when I opened and closed the app a few times. I swear that's all I did and it hasn't repeated itself.

Assuming you're working with a v1.5 app. There are a few ways to configure the BT_appConfig.txt file that comes with the download. If you setup the app to use the default buzztouch control panel as it's data source it's likely that the app will need an internet connection when it first launches to sync with the control panel. See the docs for ways to control this. Could it be that the BT_appConfig.txt file that you compiled with the project is now different than the latest copy on the server? If so, it sounds like the iPod Touch had trouble downloading the needed file from the backend. Maybe check it's internet connection?

Have a funny feeling that all PDF files etc are stored online so the app requires a network connection. I have the same problem testing my app in aeroplane mode. I hope to figure out how to make all PDF files built into the all and not stored online with buzztouch.
