If I turn-off iAds, will there be a problem with my app's design?

I was using iAds with 2 of my aps, they were free. But now I made them paid so, I want to turn-off iAds. Will my app's design still remain the same, or do I have to send an updated version to iTunes?

i believe you need to send a new binary and turn off iads (probably just on apples side in the manage apps section) ..but don't think you need to turn off iads in your app itself...hope that helps

@Ninjaselo: Turning off the iAds in the control panel will not break any of your layouts. Turn them off, when users update they should not appear ;-)

@David. Question about this. I want to do the same thing and change one of my apps from free to paid. I was thinking I'd turn off the ads and re-download and compile the app. Then upload the binary to Apple as an update and deactivate iAds from the Apple side of things on the update. Then I'd turn the ads back on in Buzztouch. My goal is that the previously downloaded free version would continue to show ads, while the new paid update would not show ads. Do you think it will work this way?

Sure. The only thing the control panel does is instruct the app to display the Ad View. The iAd Framework is already included in the compiled binary so you can turn ads on/off at will.
