App usage map - simple question

What time frame does the usage map for each individual map show? I'm guessing it's not all time as usage bubbles disappear over time.

The map in v1.4 and v1.5 control panels work the same way and it's not a precise measurement. There are a few reasons for this. The time-frame is not exact and some apps will show 'older' map pins than some other apps. The reason for this is the number of pins that show, and how 'far back' the dates go is determined by how busy the app is. A super-busy app may only show a week or so and have hunderds and hundreds of pins. A less-busy app may go back a few months because it doesn't have much activity. So, the age of the pins, the oldest pins, will depend on how busy the app is and how many devices are reporting their locations. Hope this helps.

Cool - just wondered. It is nice to see the apps I built on my dining room table in rainy Sheffield popping up in far flung places around the world. :o)

What's the most out of the way place your apps are installed? I've got one in Afghanistan :-) It IS nice to see them all over the World. Another place I like to watch is the USA. Submit an app at say 1pm UK time and they eventually start installing on the East Coast and slowly spread across to the West coast during the day.

The buzz map link in the header shows all sorts of apps all over the world. This is available to anyone that clicks the link. The map in your control panel when your looking at one of your apps shows devices that are running that app (your app, you clicked it while you were logged in).
