Source code on 1.6 and Admob requires 2.2 or higher... so?

I read that Admob works only on 2.2 or higher android version. When I download the source code and I open with eclipse, it is 1.6, I know I can modify it but at the top of the window it says: The API level for the selected SDK does not match the Min SDK version What to do, thanks

If AdMob wants you to build against the 2.2 android SDK then I guess you're going to need to. This means you'll need to setup an emulator running 2.2 and change the SDK target in the Android SDK you're using. Also, like you said, the AndroidManifest.xml file will need an updated API level. You'll probably want to set it to API leve 8. See this: http://developer.android.com/guide/appendix/api-levels.html

I understood nothing what you said. But, is there any problem if I change the android version when I open the android project?

If you don't understand what I'm saying you will likely have trouble using a different Android SDK. There isn't any 'problem' per say by changing the version - I don't think. You'll need to get a good understanding of the differences between the Android Versions of you'll have a tough time I think? If you havn't done so yet, maybe see the Common Android Problems video in your control panel for a little background on how it should work. That video may make it a bit clearer.
