Is it possible to use MMS instead of SMS and send a picture?

I've got a client who wants to be able to send pictures via MMS instead of just email. Is this possible? I've been looking for an xcode hack, and haven't found anything. Anyone have a suggestion?

Adding attachments (images) to MMS messages programatically is not supported by iOS yet. They have threatened to support it but have not yet. http://developer.apple.com/library/ios/#documentation/MessageUI/Reference/MFMessageComposeViewController_class/Reference/Reference.html
