App Approved - Thanks Buzztouch!

Finally got our first app approved and in the store - it was tough but certainly not possible without the help of Buzztouch! http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/study-in-the-usa/id450285050?mt=8

I have 1 app approved, none published and around 30 posts... That gotta be some kind of record too! :/ Apple is testing me with this delay to publish my App... Going into the third day and I still don't see my app on the App Store =P Congratulations Thumper! Let us know when its actually published/available at the App Store.

@David You have no idea how excited I was when I got the note from Apple saying my app was approved. I was in the middle of my MBA class, I told the teacher I had something urgent to deal with just to realize that my app wasn't 100% ready for sale! Well, I'm pretty much half way from an update release for the app and the original one is not even available. Im starting to think that I'll have this update in review even before the app gets to the store. My 30th post... Sorry @DavidBuzztouch I'm making a mess in the forum... I think I should give the coffee a break! =D

Haha no joke! I already finished a newer version as well *facepalm*. I have two apps In review - usually when they go in review they get approved/rejected within 6 hours, they have been in review for 2 days. There is definitely something up with apple (HAS to be that territories thing!). arggg.

It is live now. I submitted the app last Thursday - I got an email on this past Thursday it was approved and it appeared in the store Saturday around midday, then disappeared and now has reappeared. The whole approval process took 1 week by Apple which I read is standard at the moment, and then around 24 to 48 hours to appear in the store. Let's hope it stays live in the store now ;)

I noticed a slight delay with our approval too. Stefan stayed on top of ours... also, go to google.com and create a Google alert with your product name. Immediately when our app was IN the itunes store, GOOGLE sent me a proactive alert with the direct link in it, thats when you KNOW its public. If you go create the Google Alert now, you'll rest easy knowing you'll be one of the first to be made aware :)

@ tonycelestino: Don't apologize....you're forum posts (and everyone elses) are what it's all about. @ HottWeelz: Cool to see you doing iPhone stuff. Probably our fault since it's taking so long for Android ;-) @ Everyone: Apple's been inconsistent in their review times for years. I did some research a few years ago and submitted dozens and dozens of app under all sorts of circumstances. I could never come up with any concrete data about how long the process was going to take. One day, 20 days, 6 days, urgh. I guess it's their shop and they do the best they can?
