Push Notifications - IOS - How?

Ok, so I have seen push notifications on other apps on my phone but I am unsure how it works from an developers point of view. If I update the files or directories within buzztouch (when the app is already live)....will the user receive a push notification at this point? -requesting to accept update or something? Thanks Darren.

Depends on your apps Core Properties settings for Configuration Data URL and Report to Cloud URL. Check the documentation ( http://www.buzztouch.com/docs/v1.5 )for more information on both. If they were left at their default settings and you made a change to your app in the control panel, your end users will be prompted to refresh their app.

@Parker is on track but talking about something else. @DarrenLee is asking about intetgrating a push notification system, buzztouch does not have this built it. @DarrenLee, in order to get push notification working, with your custom code, you will end up needing to re-compile your project after you get it working. This means you'll need to submit an update to the App Store if your app is already live. There are countless ways to setup push notifcations. Most non-programmers use a third party library from a service like UrbanAirShip and others. Maybe search the forum for push notification - lots of discussions about it.
