New Feature idea For My App

Hello Everyone, Just finished my first app but I would like to add another feature. Can anyone please tell me if it is possible. I currently have a mobile site called www.birminghambailbonds.mobi and I have created my app off the same idea, however on the button or icon that says defendant check-In, I have it pointed to jotforms.com where I have set up a form for them to sign-in. But here is my thought....When my client clicks on check-in button, is there a way for them to just click the button and it sends me a text or email with the name and phone number of the person checking in and a way for the app to respond with their court date reminder?

Sounds like you could connect the button to an email screen configured with a message and your email address? No device will send an email withtout the user interacting with it and clicking 'send'

what im trying to do is to create a way for them to enter their number one time when they check in, then the next time just hit the check-in button an it automatically sends me their name and number and in return i can automatically send a court date reminder to their phone. any ideas?

Because no device will automatically send anything through it's email process (for lots of good reasons) you'll need to engineer an alternative method. Like... a) An html form to enter their info when they first visit b) A backend script (.php on your site) to receive the data and save the results in your backend database. c) A confirmation screen. d) Next visit, 'check in' button loads a URL to your server (another .php file) that determines if they need to register or not. If they are already registered the backend .php script send you the email. For a .php developer this is elementary. For a non-programmer, this is super tough stuff but you coudl figure out I'm sure.
