Admob Results on Andorid

As I told everyone I would update on some of my admob results: Before starting I have read a lot of different articles on advertising ect (And still don't have a clue why some do well and some don't). To test the waters with Admob on Android I released a app and a game that is doing well on downloads and the amount of launches. Med Pro lite - https://market.android.com/details?id=com.v1_4.B2BC0DE3D2892E4D37056D00.com and Tilt Bandit - https://market.android.com/details?id=com.zoid66.games.tiltbanditlite I have to say way bumbed out!!! Here are some of my numbers: SO anyone out there have a way to get more money out of this?? Tilt Bandit Reporting Manage Settings $1.96 99,726 $0.03 74.63% $0.02 MEDPro Lite Top Reporting Manage Settings $0.21 1,126 $0.22 83.93% $0.19 MEDPro Lite Bottom $0.14 1,118 $0.15 84.97% $0.13

Use adsense to to improve fill rate helps. This is my SFNeNT app results in not even a month $16.09 45,995 $0.37 94.33% $0.35 Also i believe it about add placement i run mine along the bottom of the screen the viewer is mor likely to click it there. Check out my blog on how to do this http://sfnent.blogspot.com/ once a app gains in popularity it will improve the amount of money you make I say advertise on all the socail networks and what not helps.

Yep I have adsense in there.. Now I have integrated the ad's in the Custom HTML.. Maybe your site would be a nice place for the documentation on that..

I can say that AdMob sucks.... I run 12 apps with Apple's iAds which generate $1000's compared to adMobs $7.00 revenue in Android. Stay clear of them!

Jennyapps.. Are you able to use IAd's on Android? -- AND to make things even worse for some great reason my apps are not displaying 'ANY' admob ads today.. I wonder if anyone else is having issues.

It's pretty tricky when adding ads to a app I believe its about strategy...if the content is so great people may not mind a ad or two but if the content is just ok add might make your app suck...basically the more trafic to the app more likely people will click ads and the app can't just be a one time throw away app...put a feature that draws them to keep coming back like for example I have s app that they can get there daily horoscope. Ad placement and fill rate help too...I would also consider making a light version of the app with ads and less features and a pro version with no ads and more features charge for pro this way you have money coming in from both angles..
