Is there any legal way, to increase the click through rate? I am getting a lot of impressions but no clicks. Can I make the ads more relevant? iAd's system only lets us block ads, rather than ask for them. I know that most of the revenue should come from click throughs, and looking at statistics of other app they have much higher click through rates. Mines still at 0% Is there any way I can help the click through rate?

I don't use iAds, but if it's the same as normal networks there are a few things you could try. You can block ads, so try and only show ads that are relevent or complimentary to your niche or user demographic. Filter out low paying ads, if you have the option - bad for epc. Can you change the position? Some people report better success when the ads are near buttons, so people actually see them rather than having 'banner blindness' - and they can accidentally click on them with their fat thumbs! Do you have control over the look of the ads? 2 approaches - contrast the colors so the ads stand out, or merge the colors, so people click on them without realising. Hope that helps a bit.

with iads, you can't control much more than position. even then, if the ad is out of place, apple will reject your app. (you can't put your ad right smack in the middle of the screen.) additionally, apple controls the actual ad that is displayed as far as colors, cost, etc. what are your numbers for requests, impressions, and fill rate?

As far as I know iads are served only on United States, France, United Kingdom, Germany, Italy, Canada and Spain. Do you have your app on these app stores? If not, enable them to get clicks and profit. And don't forget to enable iads on your app's home screen, it really helps.
