Problem with Icon

When we upload to the Android market we are following the sizes Google requires for the icons. When searching the Android market from my phone the icon looks VERY SMALL but when searching the Android market from my desktop the icon looks correct. Once downloaded to my phone the icon looks correct. Anyway to change the size of the icon when searching the Android market via my phone????

Hmm...not sure. It's been awhile since I've seen the sizes in the market upload process. Do all the other apps look good in your phone when you browse for apps? I do know that that icon you compile in your project has nothing to do with the icon and artwork displayed in the market. The market artwork is uploaded along with the applicaton. You could try re-uploading there?

The problem is this. We are making the launcher icon 57x57 as per Buzztouch instructions, it seems Google is taking the 57x57 icon and using it on the Android market, but only when viewed from a mobile device while searching the market. When searching for an app on the Android market via a desktop it shows the 512x512 logo that Android requests. Basically my client wants their icon to be large when searching the Android market via a smartphone, ie ESPN, CBS, Fox News, etc... If you wish you can look at Masanko Financial as an App we have made which has a VERY SMALL icon when viewed on the Android market via a smartphone.

Not sure how to advise....Google controlls their market layout. The image / icon size in your project is per the standard recommendation from the Android Deveoper docs. I guess you could increase the size of the icon in your Eclipse proejct, re-compile, re-upload to the market and see what happens? Who knows, maybe they have changes some policy or something and accept larger images / icons for this purpose?
