does the end user need to have a pdf reader???

i was wondering if the end user of my app needs to have a pdf reader to view sections in my android app

Yup. I have not seen an Android phone that doesn't come with one installed, maybe you have. Different phones and devices use different PDF's reader softare. Crazy but true. iOS and iPhone handle this natively, not Android. This means that any PDF doc that is opened using an Android device will usually prompt the user to 'choose a reader' to use. Android does this so the user can install more than one reader app for PDF's and other file types.
