Hello - I am working on my the very first app and I am not programmer at all. I have managed to go as far as preparing everything for compilation in Eclipse. And when I want to turn on emulator I got below message. I am stuck and any inspiration would be beneficial. [2011-07-18 22:49:44 - Emulator] invalid command-line parameter: and. [2011-07-18 22:49:44 - Emulator] Hint: use '@foo' to launch a virtual device named 'foo'. [2011-07-18 22:49:44 - Emulator] please use -help for more information Thanks in advance

Maybe google the phrase @foo to launch a virtual device named 'foo'. Sounds like you have something screwy in your Eclipse setup or you are trying to run a simulator with something other than the Google 1.6 API's This may help? http://stackoverflow.com/questions/3492676/invalid-command-line-parameter-when-android-execution You could also be sure to see the common android problems video in your control panel? It gets easier, really, it does. Just a matter of getting your machine setup to compile / test Android apps ;-)
