Changed tab 1 but app still shows the old tab!

I've changed my first tab but my app still shows the old tab, I'm checking everywhere but couldn't find a solution.

Funny. I think. Can't be that big a deal. If it's the iPES 2012 app, you have: news, media, countdown, options set as the tabs. Which one of these is not showing the way you expect. Oh, and, we gotta get in the same time-zone, you start, I finish - bogus.

The app is MW3 Intel, it's update has been approved about 4 hours ago. I wanted to change news(menulist) to info(menubuttons). Strange things happen now. -My ipad and iphone shows different screens! ipad show the old news, iphone shows the new info screen?!?!?! -thought it might be about Configuration Data URL pulling data from dropbox, so I've changed to default. Now my iphone shows the screen I want but icon sizes are not correct.

It's like the changes I make like button size are not updating. I've prevented scroll on info screen, the app asked for an update but info screen still scrolls. Do you see the news tab or the info tab?

OK. It's going to be related to the dataURL for the configuration data in the BT_config.txt file that was compiled and submitted. This is the URL the app uses to get it's data when the Refresh Button is clicked. Looks like you're using the default buzztouch URL (I looked in the Core Properties). Not sure why your phone and your pad show different screens...crazy for sure. Do both of these Refresh (using the button) without any errors? If they do, something's not adding up. I downloaded it and have it running in the sim. For tabs, I see: Info, Modes, Media, Countdown, Options. When I click the Refresh button, the tabs do not change. This means the config data that's included in the Xcode project is the same as the data used when refreshing. Could it be that you compiled and submitted it with a different URL? Grasping here.

They refresh but has different screens in tab 1. I think I compiled with a different URL. Yesterday I changed it to dropbox URL to test and left it as it was working. Today I've changed to default again. Now I'll change to the URL which I submitted.

I'm thinking the app has the DropBox URL compiled. Do this, get the newly updated Conig. Data using the control panel. Save this. Replace the file on your DropBox server, see if it updates. Bet it does. This means you'll either need to update that file when you make changes or you'll need to submit an update with the URL you're using in the control panel. Either way is fine, just a matter of figuring out what data file it's reading when you refresh. The differences in the phone / ipad don't make any sense unless you have two different versions installed. One with the old URL and one with the new ;-)

I've only tried and used DropBox URL yesterday, my app was submitted on 8th July. The URL that I was using when submitting to apple was either default, or an URL on my webpage, I can't really remember. But I've tried both, no success. I'll also delete from both my devices and download again.

I've deleted and downloaded them from both ipad and iphone, now it works like a charm! The only concern that I have is the users taht just do an update will not do this and their app will show different things with buttons overlapping each other(the case before I've redownloaded on my iphone).

Sounds like you should choose what URL you want to use (default buzztouch touch, or DropBox) and make sure it's compiled with that URL. Bummer having to submit an update already but if you don't remember which one you used you'll need to do this. Or..wait...maybe you can figure out which one it's using. You could do the DropBox test: Open the DropBox file, change a title of a screen or something then re-save it. Next, Refresh the app. If it changes, then you know this is the URL you're app was compiled with. You could do the same test using the control panel if you think that may be it. This approach will prevent you from having to submit an update just be sure you know what your're dealing with.

I think you were writing the message at the same time I was :) I've figured out which Data URL I was using, but only deleting and re downloading the app made it work. The only concern that I have is the users taht just do an update will not do this and their app will show different things with buttons overlapping each other(the case before I've redownloaded on my iphone).
