Changing App Icon.

I have changed the icon of my app but unfortunately when i fire up the iOS Simulator, the icon does not appear. Instead i find a plain back image. I have re-downloaded the source code but this too does not seem to resolve the problem. In the BT_Image under the files - Icon_57.png / Icon_72.png and Icon_114.png the image appears which i uploaded on Upload the App's Icon I have completed my app after months of hard work only to trip up on this last hurdle.

How did you put the images in the BT_Image folder? If you do it from Xcode you must make sure that they are imported correctly. Otherwise you can name your icon to the same name as the icon in BT_image folder and from Finder drag and drop and replace the image. When you are building the app in the simulator make sure that you clean your build.

How do you clean the build...? Im a very new to xcode and trying to get to grips with it. The images automatically got downloaded to the BT_Image folder when i uploaded the app icon image from the Application Control Panel.

Ok. Then you need to replace the image that was downloaded with the sourcecode to the image/icon that you want. The easiest way is to do as my second suggestion. Find the BT_image folder using Finder, and with drag and drop replace the image with your own image. 1. The image in the BT folder is called Icon_72, Icon_57 and Icon_114. They are all in png format. 2. What you need to do is create your own image with the according size (57, 72 and 114) in a photo/image editing software. 3. Save the file to your desktop. 4. Use finder to search for the original file in BT_Image folder. 5. Replace the original Icon_57.png file in BT_Image folder with your own newly created file by dragging and dropping the file from your desktop. 6. Restart the project in Xcode. To clean your project go to BUILD->Clean Good luck
