App Icon Label on iPhone (v1.5) - Where To Set Exactly?

Am I correct in believing that the label for the app icon on the iPhone (the app title that a user sees on their screen) is controlled by the Application Name in the Core Properties section? This would then be reflected under name:<app name> in BT_config.txt, and this would translate to <key>CFBundleDisplayName</key> in BT_info.plist? Bottom line is that I want to make sure where I need to go to change my app icon label, and that a recompile is necessary. Thanks! Mark

I believe the actual name of your iPhone app that will appear under its icon is set by you during the submission process to apple. The app name in core properties just identifies your app within buzztouch.

Parker's close: The App Store submission process is how set the identifying info, description, name, etc. as it appears in the App Store. However, this is not the same as the label that appears under the icon on the actual device. This label under the icon on the device is set in the .plist file (in the BT_config folder) and deafaults to the name of your app as it appears in your buzztouch control panel. CFBundleDisplayName in the BT_info.plist file is what you're after. Chaning the name in the .plist file after downloading the project has no affect on the buzztouch control panel. Lots of folks do this, it's very common. The idea behind the name in the control panel is mostly related to how you manage your list of apps in buzztouch. This means you can freely change the label in the .plist without worrying about it.
