See 1.4 JSON data through URL?

Hello, I have a version 1.4 app for Android and I was interested in looking at the JSON code behind the scenes. I know 1.5 will be much more flexible, but I wanted to try to write a php script to export my events calendar in the JSON format for 1.4. Has anyone been able to expose the JSON for 1.4 I have tried accessing the info through the appdata url; http://www.buzztouch.com/appdata/v1.4.php?appGuid=MYAPPGUID&appApiKey=MYAPPAPIKEY which returns invalid:request I have even appended &screenGuid=MYPARTICULARSCREENID to the url and still nothing shows. Anyways, no big deal if it's a no go. Just wanted to see the structure for a particular screen. Best Regards, Brian-

Just forgot that I can see this info when running v1.4 project in simulator. Using GDB in Xcode should give me the info.

Hi...there are a few ways do expose the data returned from the server in v1.4. The best way is probably to just have a look at the directory where the simulator saves the downloaded data. The app, and some screens will download JSON data for all sorts of things. The app itself saves its main config data and each screen (where needed) saves a file for that screen. This means the simulators Documents folder will have several files in it, depending on the app's setup. My computer saves downloaded files here: /Users/davidbook/Library/Application Support/iPhone Simulator/4.2/Applications/[APP ID]/Documents These files can be opened and browsed to show you how the JSON is formatted.

Hello David, Thanks for the tip! I'll give it a shot today. Excellent work on the new 1.5!! Glad you were able to sneak in a vacation last week. Best Regards, Brian-
