Advice?

Hi! I'm the local gopher who loves her iPhone very much but is otherwise rather app illiterate. :) I'm trying to create a simple, cool app for a local faith community. It doesn't seem very complicated in my head, and I've tinkered around with the menus and whatnot on here, but there are several things I'm not sure how to do. I want it to have a sort of What's going on? section where I can update the calendar/dates/times of our meetings and stuff. How do I update that, once it's submitted? It seems a little ridiculous to rebuild it everytime there is an update? :) I want to make it interactive, if it's possible. Is there a way to create a space in an app where people can leave comments and stuff? What about pictures? It'd be fun to have access to pictures from recent events, and even make it possible for users to upload pics they took? Thanks in advance :) Michelle

It's all possible, the absolute easiest way would be to use a custom url screen pointing to a mobile compatible website that you update calender events, another page has a photogallery that people can upload images to and so on. Wordpress would be the simplest option to achieve that. Then again, not being an iphone person myself, it maybe could be done within the iOS v1.5 console? No doubt someone may be able to jump in to help more. Good Luck!

Hi tw217, Please check out the Documentation for v1.5. The section on Content Screens explains the options available to you for your app. There are a bunch of different ways to do what you need. You'll just need to figure out what works best for you. http://www.buzztouch.com/docs/v1.5/ Once you get through the Documentation please watch the videos in your control panel. (Click on your email in the upper right of this screen and then scroll down.) They will get you going in the right direction. Have fun!
