can you send an update to Apple with only buzztouch changes ?

I've made many changes to my app since it was released on the App Store. When it was first released, I got 1,600 downloads in the first week, but the downloads have fallen since then. I want to let people know there's been a major update to the app, and get more downloads - the easiest way I can think of to do this is to issue an update. However, the updates were all done on Buzztouch, so can I send Apple basically the same file I sent before as an update? I'm not sure what they check or how they look at the app....? thanks in advance

You have to change something in the build. Updates graphics, tweaked layout, iAd integration. Otherwise the will inform you the app is the same as when first submitted.

If you updated the BT_config.txt file and recompiled, the binary would be different than the one you first submitted. Change the version number to 1.0.1 or whatever and you should be golden.
