Can I Enter A Global Setting For ALL Custom URL - Webpage Screens? (v1.5 iOS)

Hi, I am building an application that essentially ends with a call to a Custom URL - Webpage screen as the last step in navigation to the desired information. I am potentially creating hundreds of these screens, launched from different Menu Lists, and would love a way to set the Navigation Bar / Status Bar variables globally so I don't have to do it individually for each, as they will be the same across the board. Is there a way to do this without passing JSON via a dataURL (which the documentation shows how to do, but does not seem appropriate in this case)? Thanks! Mark

Try adjusting your apps Theme under the core settings.

Hi @Parker. I gave it a shot, and I can only adjust global settings for the entire app, but not specifics for a certain type of screen. There must be a config file somewhere that I can alter! Thanks, Mark

The ability to adjust the theme of a screen by screen type would be cool! In to the requested feature pile it goes. :) I'm thinking the only way to achieve this right now, other than to just manually do it to each page that differs from your global theme, is to tinker with the actual code for each screen you want to adjust. Look for the appropriate .m file under BT_screens in your xcode project. You'll have to know Objective C though.

Hi @Parker...thanks for considering it as a feature request! It would be a nice addition! I'll also see if I can tinker a bit with the .m file...I'll post any results I get. Thanks!

I ran into the same issue. I am creating an APP (iOS/V1.5) where the user selects his city, then gets to a Menu List screen that has 9 Rows representing categories of shops for that city. The Screen is the same each time, but the URLs that the rows in the Menu point to are different. As far as I know there is no method to create a city screen template with everything set once and only change the URL pointers. One way I thought of doing it is copy the .m file of the code of that screen and manually change the URL destinations. Will this work? Otherwise, the ability to create a template screen that get's re-used with minor modifications from within the Buzztouch interface would be a really nice timesaving feature (that would also tie in with the whole theme of OOP). Also re-using a completed App as template for a future one would also be very handy !!! Thanks for your input, Michael

@michalls - No copying the .m file won't work. That file is the code for building a screen of type menu list. What makes it a specific menu list is when that .m file is combined with the config data for that screen. So there is no easy way to do what you want, but we would like to create something in the future that accomplishes this.
