Do I have to copyright my app before I am able to submit it? Copyright exists the moment something is created. If the material in the app contain copyrighted contet you should have the rights to use it. If its material you control/created yourself you have the copyright. That being said, don't post apps that include copyrighted material that you dont have rights to use.
