To shorten my learning curve on configuring eclipse and setting up my first app, I would like to hire one of you very helpful forum members. We can use a free screen sharing software like mikogo or showmypc. I am using 1.4 version for an android app. I am located in Calif. Thanks in advance for your reply.

I'm sure there are a few forum members who will be happy to take you up on your offer. In the meantime however, I recommend watching the videos provided under your control panel. Click your email address in the upper right of this page. They are all helpful and one specifically deals with the basic configuration of eclipse. If you still have issues and nobody has take you up on your offer, do a forum search for the term eclipse. There are tons of forum posts successfully dealing with this.

Thanks for your input Parker. I got to the point of getting the emulator working. When I try to launch my app I get an error message, The application has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again with a Force Close button below. It could be just a character typo or something more in the files. I do not have a coder's eagle eye to spot my error and would like experienced help.
