Custom HTML - Save path?

When building a webpage using html the best practice is to create a directory and then save all the images and then link the html. Is this the case with custom html for use in buzztouch, iapps and xcode? Where is the best place to save my custom images, audio and video etc? or does it have to be online somewhere?

Hi thw88z. Happy 4th! The app can contain everything but if you plan on adding audio, video and a plethora of images etc you'll want to look at having it online somewhere. You can set app options to cache images on device or not as well. I create folders on my box to save all images, files and user uploads, makes them easier to manage for me as well. Good luck, play around with some ideas and you'll be up and running in no time.

I keep all my files locally in the app when possible, helps if the user doesn't have an internet connection.

does that mean i have to save the html and files into the xcode directory of the .proj file? can i give the folder any name? e.g. my_iapp or is there a specific directory in there that it needs? or does xcode just 'pull' the files in when archiving? any help would be great

That is correct. Any files you reference in BT control panel will have to be pulled over into project folders in Xcode. Drag 'splash screen.png' into BT_Images for example and 'appindex.html' into BT_Docs.

Any remote files, files that are hosted outside of app need not be dragged across of course.
