Cutter is here!

I'm excited that a new version has been added and can't wait for the pdf listing all the new features, partly because I don't see anything different aside from all the new documentation sections. As far as I can tell there's no support for android, no new screens, and no new advertising partners. Maybe its just changes to the backend and the config.txt file??

I believe it is bug-fixes only. I'm 99% sure the bug I submitted (Picture Gallery) is fixed.

New problem which may or may not be related to Cutter. I created a new app that I have only begun working on... has just a few menu items. I downloaded the project today for the first time. It is a few menu lists with pdf files but I also have an option to send feedback to me and email friends. When I choose these options in the simulator the email screen pops up, but if I choose cancel-> delete draft then my app crashes. This has happened several times now but haven't tested on my device yet. Name of the app is MAems. Any ideas? Josh

And to clarify, this is what my console says: terminate called after throwing an instance of 'NSException' [Switching to process 11779 thread 0x0] warning: Unable to read symbols for /Developer/Platforms/iPhoneOS.platform/DeviceSupport/4.3.1 (8G4)/Symbols/Developer/usr/lib/libXcodeDebuggerSupport.dylib (file not found). kill Current language: auto; currently objective-c quit I did delete the Swedish localization folder, could that be the reason?

Try running the app on a native device, not the simulator. In other words, install it on your iPhone/iPad/iPod Touch and test the bug there. It seems more like an XCODE issue than a BUZZTOUCH issue. libXcodeDebuggerSupport.dylib is in your xcode, not BuzzTouch. Kinda hard to explain, but it's nothing on BuzzTouch's side.

I did put it on my device (after my first post), that's where I got the console info above. Not sure why I'd have an xcode issue since I haven't upgraded it and similar email screens still work fine for my other apps. I only have problems with the newer one I downloaded today.

Try unplugging your device and running the app there. Does it crash?

I can confirm that it DOES crash :/ Seems to be a bug in the latest update. Weird. P.S: The same thing happens if you try and save the draft, too. @mutzy I got a completely different error than you, though. I believe you need to reinstall xcode.

Ok guys...figured this out. Always something eh' I'de be surprised if other button types and menu items didn't cause the same issue, they did for me when I looked into the Email compose thing. Without getting super drawn out, some of the biggest changes in the newest release are related to Dynamic Screens. Dynamic Screens allow you to create a menu item, button, or other clickable element with the 'next screen' included in the data. This means the screen you are about to load does not have to exist in the apps list of screen (config data) in advance. Cool stuff. Anyway...the memory for the 'next screen' was being released too soon and was causing the crash on a few screen types and button clicks. It just so happens that the email button did it everyime. Fixed. Already added to the change log.
