iOS 1.5 images zoomed in too much

Ok, so I've been making my images in Adobe Illustrator, and they keep getting BLOWN up. Like, big time. For a splash image, I made an image that was 1.95 inches wide and 3 inches tall (~display dimensions on iPhone 4). However, when it pulls up the file, it's almost as if the app zooms in on a spot or something. It worked the very first time I did it this way on a different app. I don't really know why it's blowing the image up. For the list image (like how it is on android 1.4), it's the same problem. I adjust my image boundaries to be 300x150, then when I put in a 300x150 image, BOOM. Zoomed way in again. Any ideas?

fixed the splash screen. Didn't do anything different, just tried again and it worked x_x The header image is still a no go though :(

You'll be best off creating images using pixels as the measuring unit, not inches. Tough to say what your experiencing as far as the zooming goes...create an image like 300 x 150, add it as the header. Should work fine.

That's what I did though! The splash was measured in inches but I fixed that. The image though is still in pixels anyway, and still having the problem :/
