Menu position - 1.5 Bug

Maybe I'm being a little too fussy, but when I scroll to the bottom of a menu on the iPhone there is an extra gap, the menu is not flush to the bottom. Also if I rotate the iPad the top of the menu is minused slightly. Is anyone else aware of this, if so is there anything I can do to rectify this?

Not fussy, attention to detail is good. 'extra gap' on iPhone is tricky to understand. Do you mean under the last item in the row? Do you mean when you scroll up and down? iOS controls this screens behavior (mostly) so not really sure what you mean. Could you be referring to the 'footer height' of the list? Tinker with the footer height in the control panel..see if it changes the 'gap' you're talking about. Not sure what this mean: 'minused slightly' after rotating the iPad

I have a menu that has 19 items, when you scroll from top to bottom there is a gap under the last item exactly the depth of a menu item. The term minused slightly refers to when the iPad is in portrait position the top menu item is flush but if you rotate the ipad to landscape the top part of the top menu item is partially hidden. If you rotate back to portrait the top menu item is fully visible and flush to the top again. Cheers :-)

OK, this is weird, I've just download my app again (cutter version I think) and re-compiled it using Xcode 4. The partially hidden top menu item on the iPad is fine now in both portrait and landscape mode, but wait for it... the iPhone now partially hides the top menu in landscape mode. And I swear I'm not drinking LOL :-)

Your avatar sums it all up. The look on his/her face is too funny! So...giggling here. Could it be something as simple as the navigation bar being set to transparent? If you set it to transparent it will obscure the top menu choice (it rolls under the transparent navigation bar intentionally). Not sure where else to advise...what app is this. Post the app name as it appears in your conrol panel and I'll get a look. I'm travelling and on-n-off the forum but should see it soon.

Glad you like the image it's a character called Salad Fingers. Anyway, here goes, I am using themes to control the look and feel, I only have one theme and the Navigation Bar / Status Bar is as follows: Status Bar Style (Default) Navigation Bar Style (Solid) Nav. Bar Background Color (#000000) Bottom Tool Bar Style (Solid) Tab Bar Color (#000000) The Menu List Row Height, Font Size is as follows: Row Height Small Device (45) Row Height Large Device (75) Title Height Small Device (45) Title Height Large Device (75) Title Font Size Small Device (14) Title Font Size Large Device (18) Desc. Font Size Small Device (12) Desc. Font Size Large Device (16) List Header Height Small Device () List Header Height Large Device (75) List Footer Height Small Device () List Footer Height Large Device (75) After typing I am now curious as I can see things in black and white so to speak I am wondering whether the null value in List Header Height Small Device () and List Footer Height Small Device () is the culprit. Also I tried adding another item to the list as maybe 19 was an odd number but despite having 20 items, there is still an extra space below the last item. I love rusty spoons!

Okay dokey, I tried adding values to Header Height Small Device (45) but didn't change things one bit. But, I've done a bit more digging on these forums and come across the same issue: http://www.buzztouch.com/forum/thread.php?tid=8377E4EA290756BC722AE51&status=&searchInput=row&sortColumn=FT.dateStampUTC&sortUpDown=DESC¤tPage=1&doViews=1 Do I add the following to BT_screen_menuList.m: int listTop = UIInterfaceOrientationIsLandscape(self.interfaceOrientation) ? 0 : 10; self.myTableView = [[UIWebView alloc] initWithFrame:CGRectMake(0, listTop, self.view.bounds.size.width, self.view.bounds.size.height)]; If so at where, cos I'm getting errors where ever I add it.
